Following the Grade II listed building’s stunning restoration, the Market Hall has been transformed into a vibrant destination that brings together the best of the region’s independent shopping, eating, drinking, and entertainment under one stunning roof. The exciting mix of live music, events and workshops will continue throughout the summer, offering something for everyone. Young budding music lovers can also participate in a family percussion workshops.
Live performances are now a mainstay at the Market Hall - every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and most Thursdays, spanning everything from indie-folk and pop to vintage classics. August’s highlights also include a VJ Day vintage vocalist performance and the continuation of the Open Mic Night, which takes place on the last Thursday of every month.

A live wrestling show will also take place on Sunday 17 August – perfect for all ages and for families.
