More Than an Oktoberfest... Welcome to Osnabrück

Osnabrück Oktoberfest 2026 is far more than a traditional Oktoberfest event. It is an immersive party experience set within a fictionalised version of the German city of Osnabrück, where guests become part of the annual celebrations hosted by the legendary Hans family.

From the moment you arrive, you'll step into a living Bavarian town filled with colourful characters, local traditions, friendly rivalries, running jokes and unfolding stories. Every corner of the event has its own personality, creating a unique atmosphere where entertainment isn't confined to the stage – it's happening all around you.

Leading the festivities once again is the self-proclaimed Mayor of the Osnabrück Oktoberfest Party, Dickie Hans, who returns with his unforgettable family of eccentric characters. Alongside their friends, employees and fellow townsfolk, they'll be bringing laughter, mischief, music and mayhem throughout the weekend, ensuring no two visits to Osnabrück are ever quite the same.

Whether you're joining the celebrations for the first time or returning to catch up with the residents of Osnabrück, expect a weekend packed with immersive entertainment, audience interaction, Bavarian-inspired fun and plenty of surprises.

As part of this year's Osnabrück Oktoberfest celebrations, we're proud to introduce a very special Craft Beer, Wines & Spirits Festival, delivered in partnership with Derby Uncovered, The Spirit Run, The Market Porter and Caffè Prosecco.

Bringing together independent brewers, vintners and distillers from across the region and beyond, this exciting addition offers visitors the opportunity to discover an incredible range of carefully crafted drinks in a lively, atmosphere-filled setting. From expertly brewed craft beers and characterful wines to premium spirits and unique artisan creations, every pour has a story to tell.
