FEAST Cabaret Night

Fri 30 May

Derby Market Hall

About the Event

From The producers of ‘Scandalous’ and ‘West End Wednesdays’ comes FEAST – The Derby Market Hall Cabaret.

Derby, are you hungry? It’s time to FEAST

Gorge yourself on gorgeous drag acts, captivating cabaret and voluptuous variety performances in the incredible surroundings of Derby Market Hall.

Featuring Derby’s Drag Daddy Axolotl Full Throttle, magical mayhem from Eden MW, song ruiner Friz Frizzle and, making their Derby Debut, Benthic Zone. Hosted by Dan Webber

Axolotl Full Throttle is the all singing, all dancing drag king of the East Midlands! Axolotl is influenced by a lifelong love of theatre, along with the hero from every musical. He is theatrical, he is sparkly, and he is ready to blow your socks off!

Benthic Zone takes you down below to a world of high fashion and high mischief. She’s half drag queen, half venomous sea slug (on her mother’s side) with a love for big concepts and bigger looks that’ll have you asking “is her carbon monoxide detector working?”
"100% my favourite flavour of drag." - LeftLion Magazine

Described as “Hilariously Unbroadcastable” by the BBC, Eden MW is a frenetic, chaotic and whimsical Magician and Comedian with a decade of experience performing across two continents. Coming personal themes of queerness and neurodivergence with impossible magic and nonsensical storytelling, when Eden’s on stage you never quite know what to expect. But one thing’s for certain, it will be magical.

Friz Frizzle is going to ruin your favourite songs. Armed with a piano, they'll take the tunes you know and love and mess around with them until you don't want to know or love them anymore. It's better than it sounds.
"A master of musical comedy" - Comedy Central.
Winner of the Leicester Comedy Festival Award 2020.

Dan Webber (he/him) is an award-winning LGBTQ+ poet, promoter and producer based in Derby.
