Love Derby Festé? It's back, and will return to Derby Market Hall. Expect the unexpected as the streets burst into life with a spectacular mix of dance, theatre, circus, parkour, and aerial performance.

Leap into the extraordinary with Derby Festé 2026 on Saturday 26th September! Transforming Derby City Centre into a vibrant playground of creativity, the city’s premier free outdoor arts festival invites you to experience a truly unique, family-friendly celebration right in the heart of the city.

Watch as the streets become a stage for a diverse, captivating, and spectacular lineup. From high-energy outdoor dance & performance to, stunning art, crazy characters and breath-taking circus.

It’s a full-on sensory adventure designed to spark your imagination and stir your soul.

Hubbub Theatre Company: Dance Collective

Hubbub’s Dance Collective presents a selection of co-created solos, duets and ensemble contemporary dance for everyone to enjoy including:

Bedlam Oz: Big Mob

1:20pm - 1:50pm & 4:40pm - 5:10pm

Slinkies are on the move! BIG MOB Is a majestic slinkie walkabout featuring slinkies. Watch pop up street shows fusing highly choreographed performance art and bewitching and often hilarious audience interactions.

This captivating roving performance has become both a festival and corporate staple all over the world and combining bursts of comic energy with gentle fun audience participation.

The Fabularium: The Carnival of The Animals (walkabout)

3:40pm - 4:25pm

Come one, come all! Behold the wilderness of The Carnival of Animals. These wondrous woodland creatures have banded together to share with you their stories of courage and adventure, and to delight you with songs of celebration and friendship.

With live acoustic accompaniment and bespoke animal headpieces, The Fabularium presents joyful walkabout fun for all the family.
