About the Event

Join us for a day of Bavarian fun!

We're transforming Derby Market Hall into a vibrant German festival with live music, authentic food, and entertainment for everyone. Entry is free!

What's happening

Das Bavarian Village: 8am - 10pm

This is the heart of the party! Grab a seat at our communal tables and get ready to eat, drink, and dance along to the live entertainment on the Osnabrück Stage. We've got a fantastic lineup of music, from crowd singalongs to our special party band, The Ein Steins. This area is perfect for those who want to be right in the middle of the action.

Der Kindergarten: 8am - 10pm

Families and those looking for a more relaxed experience can head to Der Kindergarten. Located in the centre of the main floor, this zone is a quieter space with fun, Oktoberfest-themed children's activities, including crafts, colouring, and board games.

Art in the Park workshops: 10:30am - 12pm & 12:30pm - 2pm

The team at ‘Art in the Park Derby’ are BACK to host an exciting Oktoberfest inspired workshop for our younger audience to get involved in the festivities, with their professional art tutors, in our dedicated ‘Der Kindergarten’ family-friendly space! Sessions take place fom 10:30am - 12noon and 12:30pm - 2pm.

Live Music

Starting at 12pm, our MC Andy will be hosting a lineup of talented acts, including special guest vocalists Chloe Fisher and Dickie Hans, to get you in the Bavarian mood. The Ein Steins, our house party band will close out the night with classic hits performed in a Bavarian party style.
