Ayup Bikes

Do you love bikes? We're Ayup Bikes, a new community project all about making cycling fun and easy for everyone in our city! We started in late 2024, and we're super excited to help you keep your wheels spinning!

What We Do:

• Fix Your Bike: We offer super good, low-cost repairs and servicing. Whether you've got a flat tyre or need a full tune-up, we've got you covered.
• Awesome Refurbished Bikes: Want a new (to you!) bike? We sell refurbished bikes that are safe and reliable, so you can ride with confidence. It's good for your wallet and good for the planet!
• Community Pop-Ups: You might have seen us around! We've been fixing bikes at places like Kingsway Hospital and Thrivemind Village recently and have more planned in the near future.
• Learn to Fix Your Bike: We'll be running maintenance classes, especially at the Market Hall, so you can learn how to keep your bike in tip-top shape.
• Helping Derby Together: We're a non-profit, volunteer-run team, and we're all about working with local charities, businesses, and schools to make cycling accessible to everyone.

Who We Are:

We're a friendly bunch of bike enthusiasts who want to make Derby a better place to cycle. Many of us used to work with the old BikeBack/LifeCycle project, so we know our stuff! We're a workers cooperative, which means everyone on our team gets a say in how we run things.
